A trio of Exmouth tourist attractions are celebrating after being named as among the best in the region.
Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, World of Country Life and Stuart Line Cruises were all recognised at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards.
Devon Cliffs picked up bronze awards in the holiday park and sustainable tourism categories, World of Country Life received a bronze award in the large visitor attraction category, and Stuart Line Cruises won bronze in the small visitor attraction category.
Following their success, the three attractions will now go forward to represent the South West at the National Enjoy England Awards for Excellence in May.
Devon Cliffs guest relations manager Timothy Venn said: “We’re absolutely delighted to receive these awards and to be recognised for all the hard work that we have put in.”
Mr Venn said the sustainable award recognised the park ranger team’s work involving visitors with environmental projects, while the park’s continuing programme of improvements had also paid off.
World of Country Life park manager James Turner said: “We are so proud to have won this award and to be recognised as having the great attraction that we strive to be.
“We credit each and every one of our staff who work really hard to ensure all our visitors have a fantastic time here.”
Ian Stuart, of Stuart Line Cruises, said: “We are very proud to be representing Exmouth in this category which covered Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
“It has also allowed us to enter the Visit England national awards and we are in the running for a South West Family Business Award this year, too, so we really are bringing everyone’s eyes to this area.”
