NOBODY was hurt after a commuter train on Thursday morning crashed into what Network Rail say was an obstruction on the line near Topsham.
NOBODY was hurt after a commuter train on Thursday morning crashed into what Network Rail say was 'an obstruction' on the line near Topsham.
They have confirmed that the 5.44am from Exeter St Davids to Exmouth, on the Avocet line careered into what is thought to be a wooden sleeper, that was likely placed there last ni9ght.
Network Rail say that the two passengers on the early-morning train where uninjured and continued their journey on a bus provided- and normal services commenced at 8.16am.
The train was taken back to Exeter St David's for inspection.
