The public will get a chance to show their support for Exmouth’s community enterprise project – Rolle Exmouth – when a squadron of graffiti gliders arrives in Manor Gardens on Tuesday, September 20.

The gliders are to publicise the Toying with Art show at the Rolle Centre, from September 17 until October 1.

There will be the chance to buy and graffiti a glider from 3.30pm until 4.30pm, at a pop-up shop, at the Owen Building.

Cliff Gorman, from Woodbury, who has organised the show with sculptor-designer Paul Cooper, said: “We were always going to launch a squadron of white gliders in Exmouth to publicise the Toying with Art show.

“But we’ve added the extra graffiti element so that people can show their support for this very important community enterprise, which has been six years in the making and is now starting to show signs of real progress.

“We are hoping to end up with at least 240 messages of support fully covering all the gliders.”

Cliff added: “Toying with Art is all about fun with a serious message and the gliders fit perfectly into that concept.”
