Exmouth’s tourist information service has officially moved in to its new home after an official launch party.
Town mayor Steve Gazzard presided over the launch event held to celebrate relocating from AJs Taxis to dedicated premises at 45a The Strand.
A plaque was unveiled in memory of former mayor Bill Nash who was instrumental in the town council taking over the tourist information service in 2014.
Alan Hill, of AJ's Taxis, was presented with a town council plaque in appreciation of the company housing the tourist information service since 2015.
Members of the town council and tourism business owners attended the opening on Thursday (August 21).
Veronica Boatman, tourism officer for Exmouth Town Council, said: "I would like to express my gratitude to the amazing team of volunteers who donate their time to provide Exmouth with a Tourist Information Service we can all be proud of.
"It is because of this wonderful group of people that Exmouth has a sustainable tourist information service for the future."
