Topsham Swimming Pool has taken its fundraising efforts online in its ongoing battle to stay open, writes Lewis Deakin.
The Journal revealed previously how the pool needed to raise £100,000 to make vital repairs and improvements. The pool has operated since 1979, but chairman Colin Long said maintaining it had become increasingly difficult.
Mr Long said he would be ‘devastated’ if the pool were to close.
The pool has recently celebrated its opening for the summer.
