AN application to redevelop a property in Exeter Road, Topsham, has been submitted to Exeter City Council.

Plans, relating to 11 Exeter Road, call for a detached building comprising of a single garage, garden room and car port. The proposals are currently in their consultation period.

Meanwhile in separate plans, Exeter City Council has also received an application from Route 2 Caf Bar, on Monmouth Hill, for the retention of a painted logo and lettering on the outside of the building.

Formerly the Steam Packet, the caf bar, which opened last May, is run by Liz Hodges who also owns the Globe Hotel.

As well as selling real ales, homemade burgers and their own ice creams, the bar also offers a cycle hire service.
