Estuary League of Friends (ELF) has revealed it has an action-packed calendar of events this year to raise funds for Topsham’s new community hub.

Chief executive Rachel Gilpin told the Journal last year that £1.5million was needed for the hub.

The charity took over the town’s library from Devon County Council last year – saving it from closure.

Marilyn Spencer, of Estuary League of Friends, said: “We are all working very hard to reach our fundraising target. We are trying to involve the Topsham community as much as possible.” For more information, call ELF on 01392 879009.
