A FOUR-car collision on the Clyst St George-Woodbury road on Monday evening resulted in a fire crew from Topsham being sent to the scene.
The firefighters were called to the B3179, near the Ebford turning, shortly before 6pm after four vehicles collided.
No one was trapped in the collision so the fire crew made the vehicles safe using small tools before washing away fuel which had spilled onto the road.
The incident was left in the hands of the police and ambulance personnel.
