THE fire crew from Topsham were called out to a severe house fire in Exeter.
The crew joined fire fighters from Exeter as battled the inferno at Bowring Close, Whipton, Exeter, on Sunday, March 1, at 10.45.
One male casualty was taken to hospital by the ambulance.
The property was severely damaged by the fire and smoke.
The fire was extinguished by crews using breathing apparatus, hose reels, covering jet, positive pressure ventilation fans and thermal imaging camera.
