CINEMA enthusiasts in Topsham are being given the chance to choose a movie to be shown in the film society's new season.
Michael Smithson, chairman of the town's film society, said: "Each year our members a title.
"It could be a contemporary movie like Atonement, an opera like Otello or any one of a string of classics dating back over 50 years."
The option is now a regular fixture within the 12 titles shown each year by the Topsham Film Society.
Having started in 2004, the society attracts more than 200 members. Membership for the whole years costs 21 - the equivalent of 1.75 per film.
Screenings take place on Fridays with a matinee at 3pm and an evening show at 7.30pm. Anyone who wants to join the society can download a membership form on www.topshamfilmsociety.co.uk.
