CINEMA enthusiasts in Topsham are being given the chance to choose a movie to be shown in the film society's new season.
Michael Smithson, chairman of the Topsham film society, said: "Each year our members can choose a title.
"It could be a contemporary movie like Atonement, an opera like Otello or any one of a string of classics dating back over 50 years."
The option for people to select a film is now a regular fixture within the 12 titles shown each year by the group.
Having started in 2004, the society attracts more than 200 members. Membership for the whole years costs �21 - the equivalent of �1.75 per film.
Screenings take place on Fridays with a matinee at 3pm and an evening show at 7.30pm. Anyone who wants to join the society can download a membership form on www.topshamfilmsociety.co.uk.
