One of Topsham’s two Devon Air Ambulance shops held its grand re-opening on Saturday, March 21.
The store opened its doors after undergoing a refurbishment which allows the charity to address such issues as lighting and space, both in the store and off the shop floor.
Last year, £60,000 was raised by the shop, which equates to 18 life saving missions.
Martin Bell, retail director of Devon Air Ambulance Trust, said: “Our Topsham shop is great, not just at raising funds for the charity, but for being at the heart of the community who support us so passionately.”
If anyone is interested in volunteering at either one of Topsham’s two Devon Air Ambulance locations, they should speak to Tom or Sarah in the shop or email r.oakes@daat.org
