SCORES of cyclists took part in a gruelling 100 mile ride to raise money for a hospital cancer unit.
A number of people entered The Force Century Cycle which started and finished at Topsham Rugby Club on Sunday.
Marc Millon, of Ferry Road, launched the biking challenge in 1999 in memory of his friend, Nello Ghezzo, who died of cancer that year.
Money raised from the event, in its tenth year, will be donated to the Force cancer support centre at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
Passionate cyclist Marc, 53, said: "Force does a fantastic job in researching cancer issues. The route we take is an absolute classic- it is beautiful and challenging."
The demanding route entailed a medal across the tops of Exmoor.
