Staff at a charity shop in Topsham are hoping to reunite a family with photographs which were anonymously donated.

A selection of family photographs were dropped off at the Devon Air Ambulance store in Fore Street and staff are urging the owners to come forward.

Heléna Holt, CEO of Devon Air Ambulance Trust, said: “We receive many donations through our charity shops, all of which are gratefully received.

“This is one of the more unusual donations. When we saw what it was, we did wonder if it was given to us by mistake.

“The collection of photographs will, we are sure, hold many memories for those portrayed, family and friends.

“If the person who donated them to the shop reads this, we would love to hear from them so they can shed some light on the circumstances surrounding why they were donated.

“It may be that we received them as part of an estate and there are no family members left. However, it would be great to reunite them if we possibly can.”

● If anyone recognises the photographs, they should ring the shop on 01392 879232.
