A fire has caused damaged to two cars in Topsham in the early hours of this morning (Friday, November 30).

Crews from Topsham were called out to a car on fire on a highway in Holman Way at around 2am.

Fire fighters extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets, two dry powder extinguishers and a hydrant for water supply.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the fire caused damage to a second car ‘in close proximity’ and the owner was contacted.
