Top chef in pub kitchen

AFFORDABLE cuisine is being brought to an Exmouth pub thanks to an award-winning chef.
Marc Slater, whose 20-year career has taken him from five star hotels to three star Michelin restaurants, took over the Grapevine Kitchen, in Victoria Road, this week.
Most recently, the head chef at the Redwing Bar and Dining, Lympstone, Marc has also has entered various competitions and represented his country at the Culinary Olympics in Germany earning a bronze medal.
He has also won the Academy of Culinary Arts awards of Excellence.
Marc says he is very excited about the opportunity at the Grapevine and added: “I have become very fond of the area since moving here with my wife and son two years ago and putting the Redwing on the map proves how popular this style of food is, restaurant quality, relaxed surroundings and above all affordable.”
Marc and his team will be using local suppliers and producers to take advantage of the great West Country produce.
