TALENTED singer Tom Andrews was runner-up in the regional finals of a national competition and will continue to reach for the stars in talent contests.14-year-old Tom won first runner-up in the regional finals of the Idol 2008 competition and may still be chosen to go through to the national final.Mum Lynne Andrews said: "He won a trophy and is very pleased. We just have to hope that he gets through."The competition, which attracts over 10,000 applicants, searches for the most talented singers and dancers in the country.He will now be focusing on the national finals of the talent competition, Festival 4 Stars, to be held in Glasgow on November 15.Tom, who was described as having 'the voice of an angel' by a judge at a competition earlier this year, is looking for a sponsor for the competition.
