Time Watch man comes to Exmouth

Professor Mick Aston, the charismatic leader of Channel 4's Time Team archaeology programme, has agreed to take time out from his busy schedule to give an illustrated talk about the programme, entitled The Making of Time Team. It will take place on Monday, December 1, at 7.30 pm in the Judith Telfer building, Exmouth Community College, Gipsy Lane, Exmouth. Exmouth Historical and Archaeological Society, which has organised the event, has offered free entry to students from the college, who will additionally have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Mick earlier in the evening to discuss matters of mutual interest. Entry to the lecture is by ticket only. Tickets cost £5 and are available from "B Natural" in The Strand, Exmouth or from Mike Tracey (01395) 260442.
