TICKETS for the first ever Exmouth Valentines Ball go on sale this week to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

The fundraising event, to take place at the Exmouth Pavilion, on Saturday 1February 12 will help raise vital funds and will celebrate the heart charity’s 50th Anniversary during National Heart Month 2011.

Organised by Exmouth BHF volunteer, Dave Morley, the event invites people to get dressed up in their best red glad-rags, dance to the beat, and have a ball.

The evening is for couples, groups of friends or single people wanting a different Valentines night out this year. All money raised from the event will help the nation’s heart charity in its fight against heart and circulatory disease, the UK’s biggest killer.

Dave Morley, BHF Volunteer says “I am really pleased to be able to launch the ticket sales for the Valentine Ball. I am a heart patient myself so know firsthand about the work of BHF. My wife and I wanted to organise a great night out for everyone in and around Exmouth to celebrate the 50 years that BHF has been working tirelessly to save lives and improve the lives of those with heart or circulatory disease. We hope lots of people will join us in supporting this great charity and having a wonderful valentine’s night.”

The Valentines Ball will start at 7pm, with a four course menu being served at 7.45pm. This will be followed by a disco. Tickets are 30.
