THE owner of an 'untidy' Brixington back garden has been given until the beginning of August to tidy up - or face legal action. The district council has written to the owner of 48 Woodfield Close following complaints of the 'untidy condition' of the land

THE owner of an 'untidy' Brixington back garden has been given until the beginning of August to tidy up - or face legal action.The district council has written to the owner of 48 Woodfield Close following complaints of the 'untidy condition' of the land forming the rear garden.An enforcement officer wrote: "It is considered that this land adversely affects the amenity of the neighbourhood and rubbish and other items must be removed within six weeks... (of June 27)."They added that, after August 8, the land must also be maintained in a 'clean and tidy condition'.
