Now in its ninth year, the Regatta on June 27 and 28 is this year being hosted by the Exe Sailing Club in conjunction with Lympstone Sailing Club, Starcross Yacht Club and Topsham Sailing Club - and will see racing in three dinghy classes.

They will also be events for day boats and multi-hulls while class three dinghies and lasers will race in the Exe between Star Cross and Lympstone.

There will also be a programme of events for junior sailors while for the first time the Regatta will include a big-prize fishing contest, organised by the Exmouth Deep Sea Fishing Club and Starcross Fishing and Cruising Club.

On Saturday evening there will be a party at the Exe sailing Club with a live band and firework display, and after the racing on Sunday there will be the regatta tea and free prize draw, where over £1,000 of Gill clothing will be given away.
