An accountant is celebrating her 30th anniversary with an Exmouth firm.

Corporate services manager Janice Baxter started work at the Exmouth office of accountants Thompson Jenner in July 1985.

At a presentation ceremony, firm partner Ruskin Wilson congratulated Janice on her achievement and thanked her for her loyal service.

He said: “Janice has been an ever-present influence at Thompson Jenner for the past 30 years and we are extremely grateful to her as she has contributed massively to the Exmouth office’s development and success over three decades. We are delighted that she has achieved this milestone and are looking forward to many more years working at the firm.

“Having joined Thompson Jenner at about the same time as Janice, I am especially pleased for her as she is not only a wonderful employee, but also a very good friend and I am looking forward to celebrating the next milestone.”

Janice thanked all who had celebrated her anniversary, adding: “I can’t believe that I am celebrating my 30th year at Thompson Jenner, the time has just flown past. I’ve made many good friends over the years and there’s a great working atmosphere at the firm.

“Probably the biggest change I’ve seen is how the firm has grown over the years and the way that young members of staff have progressed to managers and in some cases become partners in the firm.

“I look forward to many more years working at the firm, and would like to thank everyone for their congratulations and best wishes.”
