THANK you to all who made the Exmouth illuminated annual charity carnival such a success.

THANK you to all who made the Exmouth illuminated annual charity carnival such a success.

Particular thanks to the secretary of the show - Ron Roberts, to the general factotum - Rob Waller, and to all his team of security stewards - to cleaners and sweepers - to the staff of Exmouth Town Football Club - to the team of judges - for the group of town criers in the Countrylife charabanc and the youngster who walked - and to those who walked in procession and looked magnificent - to the floats large and small and not forgetting the hundreds, perhaps thousands, who lined the route with light from the moon in addition to generated electricity.

A community project - the like of which we haven't seen for yet another year - and, finally, our thanks to those who contributed to the overall total. And, lastly, spare a thought for those who spent many hours counting your contribution, for which much thanks. Thank you all.

Garth Gibson,

Exmouth Town Crier
