The Exmouth School of Performing Arts raised £926 when pupils took part in a tap-a-thon in aid of Children in Need.

The annual nationwide event, organised by the Performer’s Project, also made a bid for the world record to get the most tap dancers dancing simultaneously, but fell short by 102 dancers.

She said: “I’m very proud of everyone that took part and would like to say a big thank-you to everyone that sponsored us.”
