Sweet-toothed bingo players are being urged to support the town’s primary school on Friday.

A bingo event is being held at St Peter’s School with chocolate prizes on offer.

Doors open at 5.45pm with eyes down at 6.30pm and people are being urged to arrive early for a bite to eat.

There will be meat or cheese and onion pasties from Moore’s for £2 and potato wedges for £1.

There will also be a colouring-in competition for children.

All are welcome and entry is free, and one book costs £1.

For those who cannot attend, a chocolate raffle is also being held and tickets can be purchased on the school stage through next week.
