BUDLEIGH Salterton Town Council has refused to support an amended planning application to build a two-storey detached home with internal garage on land at Stapleton, 5 West Hill Lane.
The councillors said the proposed development failed to enhance or preserve the conversation area and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The members also raised concerns about vehicle access.
