Exmouth mum Jenny French-Batten is appealing for help to net 10,000 pennies in memory of her husband John.
Jenny annually raises awareness of prostate cancer after John died from the disease in 2012, aged 59. The 10,000 coins represent the number of men likely to be diagnosed with the disease each year. Coins can be left at the Cancer Research UK shop and on the Parade, where Jenny annually raises awareness of the disease and the work of charity Prostate Cancer UK. The total raised is not important, it is the message the collecting spreads.
