I feel compelled to write in response to a letter entitled "Good luck" on October 9.While I disagree vehemently with the proposal for a high-class restaurant on the site of the Longboat Cafe, I must register my utter surprise at the delay encountered by the above said letter writer for his or her plans to have a mobile kebab/curry/burger van sited on the seafront. What a novel idea. I do believe the true potential of this proposal has not been recognised. One can clearly see it would be a highly positive intervention, especially for the younger members of Budleigh - and the late and lone fishermen would surely enjoy a cup of hot coffee after a hard night's fishing.I certainly give it my vote!
