EXMOUTH and District Children’s Centre are holding a range of free activities for toddlers this summer.
This year’s program includes regular fun sessions like “Get Up and Go” active Gym session, Bounce and Rhyme and Stay and Play and the introduction of Environmental Play through exploring nature.
Apart from the sessions at the two children’s centres in Egremont and Moorfield Road, they are running Tuesday sessions in Budleigh Salterton and on Wednesdays in selected village halls.
Craig Jolly Participation Coordinator said: “We are looking forward to meeting new families during our summer activities and enjoying fun sessions with families who currently use the children’s centre.
“We are excited that this year we will be working together with the National Trust at A la Ronde to celebrate National play day on Wednesday August 4.”
In August they will also be running children’s activities at the Help the Heroes Garden Party on Saturday August 14 and at the Friends of The Quiet Mind Centre fundraising day on Saturday August 28, both in Manor Gardens.
And toddlers and parents can get into gardening at a flower and vegetable craft and quiz day at the Exmouth Flower and Vegetable Show on Thursday August 26 at Elizabeth Hall
Copies of the new summer timetable can be collected from Moorfield and Egremont Road centre or by calling 01395 226789.
