Such a shame to lose sand dunes

PUBLISHED: 07:00 14 February 2014

After last week’s storms and high tides, the sand dunes have been decimated

So what does the future hold in store for them now? Will the council remove them altogether? Leave them as they are and hope they recuperate, or spend a lot of money reinstating them?

I really hope it’s the latter as they hold a lot of fond memories for a lot of local people – as well as holidaymakers who visit here year after year.

I think if we lose this unique asset to our beach, it would be such a shame.
