Volunteers from Topsham were joined by students from Plymouth University as they cleaned up the flowerbeds at the town’s railway station.

The late Bettine Rogers and Elizabeth Hubbick used to take responsibility for the platform plant life.

A small group of volunteers from the town, student volunteers and staff from First Great Western spent a day carrying on their good work.

The youngsters from the university gave up their day to help with weeding and planting new blooms.

Organisers thanked St Bridget Nurseries for the help it provided for the project.
