Footage taken by Tom Hurley shows waves battering Exmouth’s seawall in The Esplanade as the area feels the impact of Storm Callum

The MET Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the area and says people can expect delays to their journeys.

The warning will be in place until midnight tonight (Friday, October 12).

This video, taken by Tom Hurley, shows the waves coming over the sea wall and the seafront road submerged in water.

Devon County Council Highways says there have been a number of fallen trees and is warning motorists to stick to the major roads.
