I am not particularly party political, but I have to ask what an earth are the Lib Dems doing rejecting 4million of investment that would sort out Exmouth's town centre parking problem? We do not have enough parking as it is, and it looks like the changes to The Strand will mean a loss of more parking spaces, so it has to be common sense to look at adding extra town centre parking elsewhere. The Lib Dems say they support The Strand project, but are against investing in the London Inn project, a stance that makes no sense at all. For years, we have plenty of councillors who have moaned about the lack of investment in Exmouth and yet, when the opportunity comes along, some of the old guard actually have the gall to reject it.I am disappointed if any councillors from any political party were to prevent much-needed investment getting in to our town. On this occasion, I am really disappointed with the Lib Dems.Stop playing party politics and start putting Exmouth first. That way we might actually get something done.
