The silver Diamond Hardtail mountain bike, which belonged to the lad's dad, had a bracket on the rear for towing a child carrier and was stolen from outside Moreys between 7.35am and 8pm on Wednesday April 14.
Police community support officer Colin Balch said: "The paper round is now being done on foot unless another bike can be borrowed."
Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO Colin Balch on 08452 777 444, quoting crime reference KE/10/819.
