Time is running out for people to take up a stall at an annual charity event in Exmouth.

This Saturday will be Steve Gazzard’s Transplant Awareness Day, in The Strand, with many organisations and charities taking the opportunity to have a ‘pitch’ at the event.

The event, which runs from 10am until 4pm, is hoped to be a ‘fun day with a serious message’ with the aim of highlighting the shortage of organ donors.

Charity champion Steve has been campaigning for more people to become organ donors since his daughter Sarah Wright died while waiting for a transplant in 2012.

This year’s event will have nearly 50 stalls, a bouncy castle, a face painter, emergency vehicles, Devon Free Wheelers, music, tombola, cake stalls and a ‘live auction’.

There are still one pitch left and anyone interested in taking it should email steve at Exmouth.organdonor@gmail.com
