TV wildlife expert Chris Packham is visiting Exe Sailing Club next week to see how members are making their pursuit more environmentally friendly.
The BBC Springwatch presenter will be at the Sailing Club on Thursday, July 30 as the Volvo Eco Challenge Ambassador, part of the Volvo Eco Challenge Day.
The Volvo Eco Challenge Day is a new project which has been set up to help sailing clubs become more environmentally friendly, with �20,000 of grants available.
The scheme will provide individual grants of between �100 - �1000 to Champion Clubs for a project carried out by young people aged between 10-16 who take up an environmental initiative at their club.
