FIFTY-FIVE children and young people from Andrea White s Dance Arts Theatre School have been performing an exciting dance and drama show Spring into Action.

FIFTY-FIVE children and young people from Andrea White's Dance Arts Theatre School have been performing an exciting dance and drama show Spring into Action.

The performances were staged at the Barnfield Theatre, Exeter.

Herald photographer Terry Ife called in on a ballet rehearsal and snapped beautiful leading ballerina Caterina Lau and more than 20 young dancers resplendent in their tutus practising an impressive colourful dance sequence.

The show also included tap and modern dances.

Spring was the theme for the first half and aptly the two songs from the magical musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers were Goin' Courtin' and Spring. Highlights of the second half included dance from Pirates of the Caribbean and extracts from Peter Pan by drama students.
