FIVE motorists caught speeding through Budleigh Salterton have received warnings from the police.
The town's neighbourhood beat manager PC David Lea this month conducted speed checks at West Hill Road and at Knowle village hall.
Two motorists were warned at West Hill and three at Knowle.
The police said none of the vehicles exceeded 40pmh and most were recorded between 26 and 35mph.
PC Lea said: "Warning letters were sent to the drivers as well as being given roadside advice.
