They were never going to sort out the problem of speeding. During the start and end of school day, cars are parked on both sides of the road, with parents dropping off and collecting the children.
It can be very hard to get through at 5mph. It was a waste of money. The only way to stop it is with regular police patrols.
The next problem in the area is cars racing down Chesire Road onto Dinan Way to avoid the hold-ups.
