POLICE are warning speeding drivers to slow down or face the consequences as they launch a clamp-down on dangerous driving in the Brixington area.Mobile speed cameras will be rolled out over the next few months to monitor drivers in Marley Road, after police received a number of complaints from residents, including reports of drivers speeding along at almost 50mph in a 30mph zone.Said PCSO Stuart Penny: "We have had lots of complaints regarding speeding traffic along Higher Marley Road over the past six months."It seems people are using the road as a rat-run to get from Woodbury to Exmouth."We are sending a warning to drivers that action will be taken."Speed cameras will be in operation from next week.
