AN OTTERTON man celebrated his 100th birthday party with relatives from three generations.
Stanley Thorn, who lives in the Old Vicarage Retirement Home, enjoyed an afternoon tea party to mark the occasion.
Marion Vicarage, administrator at the home, said: "He thoroughly enjoyed himself at the party.
"Stanley is a very pleasant gentleman - very much a family man and a joy to be around. It was a lovely day for him weather-wise."
Meanwhile, children from Otterton Primary School attended a coffee morning held at the home on Thursday, June 25, to entertain the residents.
Pupils dance and sang songs for people at the vicarage. Money raised from the event will be donated to the school, CLICK Sargent and ELF.
