SPAR recalls water due to bacteria fears

Grocery chain SPAR has issued a recall of bottled water due to the presence of bacteria.
A spokesman for SPAR, which has stores in Exmouth and Budleigh, said: “As a precaution, SPAR is withdrawing and recalling a batch of SPAR Silverbrook Falls Water 500ml bottles (sold in either a 6x500ml multipack or single bottle) due to the detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria.
“The product recalled is: SPAR Silverbrook Falls Water 500ml (sold in either a 6x500ml multipack or single bottle) use by date July 2015 MS1A L13199.
“If you have bought SPAR Silverbrook Falls Water 500ml with this date code and identification please do not consume it, but contact the store you purchased it from for a full refund.”
