NEW figures from the Department of Health have revealed that people in the South West are the worst in the country for failing to wash their hands after sneezing.

NEW figures from the Department of Health have revealed that people in the South West are the worst in the country for failing to wash their hands after sneezing.

A new campaign has been launched to encourage people to improve their hygiene habits when coughing and sneezing, to prevent the spread of germs particularly during the cold and flu season.

The survey found 62 per cent of people don't always wash their hands after coughing or sneezing into them.
