SMOKE was reported coming from a manhole cover in Alexandra Terrace, Exmouth today (Monday, July 27). Firefighters were called out at around 7am, along with a representative from Western Power – as the manhole led to a mains electrical installation. The

Firefighters were called out at around 7am, along with a representative from Western Power - as the manhole led to a mains electrical installation.
The small fire was found to have been caused by floodwater. The crew used the thermal imaging camera and small tools to make the area safe.
