Smashed church glass prompts Budleigh police appeal

PLEA FOR WITNESSES: The police are keen to trace the culprit who smashed a pane of glass at St Peter’s Church, in Budleigh Salterton.

Officers said it was the second time in a month the glass had been damaged.

The police said the damage occurred sometime between 9am and 6pm on Monday, August 15.

Police community support officer Sarah Trayhurn said: “If anyone has any information, or has seen anyone acting suspiciously, please contact the police.

“I would like to ask residents to be vigilant and report any anti-social behaviour.”
