Three Slimming World members have been recognised by their fellow Exmouth slimmers for losing a combined 12 stone.
An Exmouth slimming trio has achieved a combined weight loss of 12 stone between them.
Slimming World members Cindy Shapcott, Louise Grant and Jon Lee-Smith were all recognised for their weight loss this year.
Cindy, who lost three stone 11lbs, was voted as Miss Slinky 2017 at the Brixington Slimming World group while Louise, who lost four stone 7lbs, picked up the award in the Exmouth Rugby Club group.
Jon, who had shed three stone nine-and-a-half pounds, was named Mr Sleek for this year at the Brixington group.
Cindy, 35, who has dropped from a dress size 18 to a 10, said: “I was already really looking forward to this Christmas and feeling glamorous enough to wear the outfits I’ve been dreaming of.
“Winning the title of Miss Slinky means I have even more to celebrate and I know this festive season will be extra special.”
Jon said: “Being voted for by the other members of the group is really great because it’s thanks to them and their support – and our consultant Ali – that we’ve stayed committed to losing the weight that we have.
“As a man, joining a slimming group was a big decision and very nerve-wracking, but I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”
Ali Burford, who runs the Brixington Slimming World group which Cindy and Jon attend, says she’s extremely proud of both slimmers: “This year I know Cindy and Jon will feel completely different from previous years.
“They definitely live up to their new titles of Miss Slinky and Mr Sleek in my eyes.”
Lee Davey, who is Louise’s consultant added: “I’ve no doubt that Louise who is a young mum will go on to inspire other people to lose weight too and show that whether you’ve got a little or a lot of weight to lose, slimming down can make a big difference to how you feel about yourself and really boost your confidence.
“Louise is happier, healthier and fitter, and every week the group love hearing about her progress.”
