Site should be an open area
As Littleham councillors, we were as surprised as others at the sale of the Rolle College recreational facilities by Plymouth University to the Eagle One development company.
As Littleham councillors, we were as surprised as others at the sale of the Rolle College recreational facilities by Plymouth University to the Eagle One development company. It is our belief, and present council policy, that this area in Littleham should continue to be an open recreation space for educational and general use in the town.
We will fight hard as local councillors to ensure that remains the case. Not only is such space needed by Exmouth, but this area is an extremely attractive one that should be preserved for present and future residents.
We are happy to see Eagle One, or other developers, redevelop locations that are appropriate for the regeneration of the town. The Rolle College recreational area is not such a location.
