A ‘sinkhole’ which appeared on Queen’s Drive has been cordoned off.

Members of the public snapped these photos yesterday after a small hole appeared on the seafront, sharing them on the Facebook page UK SouthWest Storm Chasers Ltd.

An EDDC spokeswoman said: “Our StreetScene officers were on site today and the small hole in the road is safely cordoned off.

“As the area falls within East Devon District Council land we will schedule in repair work shortly.”
