EXMOUTH Cockles are inviting people to take part in this year's Sport Relief efforts by going that extra mile for the charity.

The Exmouth Cockles are hosting a Sainsbury's Sport Relief mile at the Imperial Recreation Ground track and along the seafront.

The club hopes scores of people will take part and raise sponsorship.

Chris Parks, RFC chairman, said: "You can do your mile on our running track, accessible for all, or for the more adventurous, the three and six mile routes will take you along the promenade by the sea so you can enjoy the views as you raise money for a great cause."

The event is being held on Sunday March 21, from 10am until

7pm.

There are a host of different start times available throughout the day, depending on the length of the mile.

Entry is 5 for 16s and over, 2 for children and 12 for families.
