Share the pride

Please would you convey my thanks to all the people who supported the recent Centre Stage production of Starlight Express.

The dust is now beginning to settle as those skates are hung up.

All of the company were delighted to be able to perform in this production as it offered that added skill of learning to skate, a skill that I am sure all those who managed to get tickets, will agree was a spectacle to see

I received many kind words from lots of people, on behalf of the company, praising the talent that was on the stage and the work of all the many people involved in the back stage and unseen roles as volunteers, who work so hard throughout the year.

There are very many people who have also helped in some other ways, all are appreciated by the company greatly. I would like to say thank you to all those people who offered raffle prizes, donated to the company in many ways, the advertisers in our programme, the Journal for fantastic coverage and a quick apology to anyone who was disappointed not to get tickets.

I am very proud of all the Centre Stage members and their achievements and Starlight Express adds to their list of great productions. I am very pleased to say there will be many more, and that is down to our audiences, our friends, who continue to watch Centre Stage - it was such a pleasure to have those full houses, it really made our show week extremely special

I really hope that people share in this pride of the company, even if you don’t like musical theatre, these are a great bunch of young people who rely on us all to give them our time, and support them in all they do. Tell all of your friends about the professional live theatre that is bursting with energy in Exmouth, they will have a great evening out and we will continue to grow our audience numbers and love for the company.

Thank you and don’t forget to buy your Whistle Down the Wind tickets.

Thanks again.
